Is CAROL Bike good for beginners?
CAROL Bike is for all exercise levels based on adaptive AI technology. The bike will push you based on your current fitness level, so you can get the most out of the workout. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never worked out, haven’t worked out in 2 years, or workout every day. The bike will adapt to your level and push you to your max. The bike will continue to learn and ensure you are always getting a good workout.

Your CAROL Bike comes with a personalized dashboard with comprehensive performance metrics like your Fitness Score; so you can accurately track how your fitness is improving.
It also comes with a heart rate monitor to track your performance more accurately—capturing R-R intervals (small changes in the intervals between successive heartbeats) for HRV (heart rate variability) measurement.

Does the bike come with any accessories?
Your CAROL Bike comes with a bottle holder and heart rate monitor that seamlessly connects to your bike for a more accurate way to track your performance.
You can also purchase supporting accessories with your bike, including a phone holder designed to keep you connected to the outside world while you workout, and a high-spec PVC bike mat, designed to protect your floor while you pedal.

Do I need a membership to use CAROL Bike?
Yes, with a membership you’ll unlock all the features of your CAROL Bike, including AI-personalized workouts, with instant resistance for maximum results.
Without a membership you do still have access to valuable features, including non-personalized resistance settings, standalone performance metrics and six science-backed workouts.

Will I be charged duties and taxes?
If you live in the mainland US, Canada or UK, you will not need to pay additional duties or taxes on your order.
If you live outside of these countries, you might need to pay additional duties or taxes. These will be calculated and collected by DHL before they deliver your bike. Find more information on their duties and taxes policy here.

How do I track my order?
You’ll receive an email with tracking information as soon as your bike has shipped – usually within 1-2 business days from placing your order.
Can I cancel or modify my order?
If, for whatever reason, you need to make changes to your order, contact Customer Support as quickly as possible after placing your order, and they will do their best to assist you. Please note that you are unable to amend your order after it has shipped.
What is the assembly process like?
We want to make it as easy as possible for you to make a start, which is why we offer both DIY and Paid Assembly.
DIY Assembly: with just 7-steps and customer support on-hand— assembling CAROL yourself is simple, and should take no more than 50 minutes. You can watch the assembly video here and download a copy of our self-assembly user guide here.
Please note that the bike is heavy (120lb / 54.5kg), so we recommend assembling with two people, and that you do not attempt to lift it by yourself. There are wheels on the rear stabilizers that you can use to maneuver the bike. The rear of the bike is where most of the weight is, so take care when attempting to lift it.
Paid Assembly: if you live in the mainland US or UK, you can choose for us to deliver your bike fully assembled – and ready to ride, for a small fee.
How much extra do I have to pay for pre-assembly?
Pre-assembly is offered in the mainland US and UK. You will get your bike delivered to room of choice fully assembled.

What is the profile set-up process like?
Setting up your profile on the bike is simple: plug it in, connect to Wifi and follow the instructions on-screen.
What is your 100-day home trial offer?
You can return your CAROL Bike, no questions asked, within 100 days from delivery.
If you live in the mainland US, mainland Canada or UK it is free to return your bike and you will be issued a full refund.
When does my 100-day home trial start?
Your trial starts on the day that your bike is delivered.
Do I have to pay before my 100-day home trial?
Yes, you pay for your bike at checkout. If you choose to return your bike within your 100-day free trial, you will be issued a full refund if you live in mainland US, mainland Canada or UK. For all other regions you will be refunded for your bike, minus any original and return shipping fees.
Are all countries eligible for the 100-day home trial?
Yes, we want to give everyone the opportunity to experience CAROL Bike, which is why we offer our 100-day home trial to all locations. Please note that outside mainland US, mainland Canada or UK, you will be refunded for your bike minus original and return shipping fees, if you choose to return your bike after your trial period is over.

Do I need to keep any of the packaging or boxes?
If you decide to return your CAROL Bike, you will need to return it in its original packaging. So, if you’re unsure, we’d recommend keeping the packaging for the duration of your trial.
What is the CAROL returns policy?
CAROL offers a 100-day home trial, no questions asked. If, for whatever reason, your CAROL Bike isn’t for you, we’re happy to refund you and take back your bike.
This return service is free of charge if you live in the mainland US, Canada or UK. For all other regions you will be refunded for your bike, minus your original shipping cost and the return shipping cost.
From 100 days after the date of delivery, you will not be able to return your bike or request a refund.
Once your bike has been collected by the carrier, it will be sent back to our warehouse for inspection. The inspection covers the operation of the bike as well as a walkthrough for any damages. As long as the bike is operational and only shows signs of minimal wear and tear, a full refund will be issued.
How do I return my CAROL Bike?
Arranging a return is easy, simply contact Customer Support and a member of the team will organize this for you.
We ask that you please return your bike in its original packaging.
Do I need to pay a return shipping fee?
If you live in the mainland US, Canada or UK it is free to return your bike. For all other regions, you will need to cover the return shipping cost, which will equal your original shipping cost.
Are shipping charges refundable?
If you live in the mainland US, Canada or UK, you will receive a full refund, including charges paid for shipping and assembly of the bike, if applicable.
For all other regions you will receive a refund for the bike, as well as any charges paid for assembly of the bike, but minus any original or return shipping charges.
How long does it take for a return to be processed?
Once your return request has been approved, a carrier will reach out to you within 5-7 days to schedule collection of your bike. After the bike has been collected, funds will be refunded to your original payment method within 25 days.
Where is my refund?
If you have not received your refund within the specified timeframe, contact Customer Support and a member of our team will be happy to help.
Can I get a refund if I financed my bike?
Absolutely. If you financed your purchase, Affirm or Klarna will refund your paid installments, less any interest paid.
What warranty coverage do I get with a CAROL Bike purchase?

I have a warranty claim. What should I do?
To make a claim contact Customer Support, quoting either the email address used at checkout or to create your bike profile, or your order number.
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay for your bike using all major credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Do you offer a financing plan?
Yes, we offer a 0% Finance plan for those in the UK and US. You can pay over 12 months with Klarna in the UK, or Affirm in the US.
Note that we act as a credit broker and not a lender. Financing is subject to a credit check and approval. In cases of partial approval, a down payment may be required.
Late or missing repayments may have serious consequences and cause serious money problems.
Is my membership included in my monthly payments?
Finance plans cover the bike only, your membership will be billed separately.
When is the first payment due if I have ordered my CAROL Bike with finance?
Once your CAROL Bike order has been confirmed, you will have 30 days to make your first payment.
How much will I pay each month?
You will pay in 12 monthly installments, with 0% APR financing, as follows:

All users must, prior to carrying out any exercise on CAROL Bike, complete this short Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ, see below) to ensure that the bike is used within the prescribed safety margins:
